Tom Robbins, used a line in of Still Life with Woodpecker novel - "it's never too late to have a happy childhood". The moment I read that paragraph, I adopted it as my motto. Then in 2014, when I retired and decided it was time to take that motto seriously. This is a story of a journey and my newly planned layover in my amateur radio trek - Parks on the Air. As always, it's a pathway to continue to have a happy childhood. First let me say I also use the title "the journey is my home". How do you take a journey? The answer is easy: one step at a time. One step at a time, one right after the other. Wash, rinse, repeat. . . There are dozens of cliches that we could use as we take this trip. I'm going to take you on the journey I have traveled step by step to get to this point. I'm currently planning the next leg, the next adventure.
